When can I expect to see my premium credit?

Premium credits on personal auto policies are scheduled to begin with invoices that print on *May 15th.

Will I receive a credit for each of the next two months?

This credit will be applied one-time to your Florida Farm Bureau personal auto policy. It is based on 15% of two months of your personal auto policy premium but will be reflected on one invoice.

Which two months will my credit get applied?

The premium credit is not specific to any particular two months. This one-time credit is based on 15% of two months of your Florida Farm Bureau personal auto policy premium paid for each vehicle covered.

Which policy will receive a premium credit?

The premium credit applies to all Florida Farm Bureau personal auto policies. You must have a personal auto policy in force on May 1st with us in order to receive the credit.

What do I have to do to receive the premium credit for my personal auto policy?

You do not have to do anything. The credit will be automatically applied to your personal auto policy with the first invoice on or after *May 15th.

How will I know the credit was applied to my personal auto policy?

Your credit will appear on one line item of your first invoice on or after *May 15th. It will be labeled “COVID-19 Premium Relief”. The amount due on your invoice will automatically reflect that the credit is applied.

I pay my Farm Bureau personal auto policy in full every 6 months. Will I still receive a premium credit?

Yes! The credit will be applied to your first invoice on or after *May 15th.

My policy just renewed and I paid it in full for 6 months. Will I receive a credit?

Yes! The credit will be applied to your next policy period. However, your policy must remain in force in order for the credit to be applied.

I would like my credit as a refund. Is that possible?

Personal auto policy premium credits will not be issued as a refund. The credit will be applied to your first invoice on or after *May 15th for your personal auto policy.

Do I still have to make a premium payment?

Yes. In order to keep your policy in force, you must pay the amount due on your invoice before the date indicated on the invoice.

If my policy cancels, will I still get a credit?

Your policy must remain in force for the credit to apply. The credit will be applied to your first invoice on or after *May 15th. If your policy cancels prior to May 1st, unfortunately no credit can be applied. If your policy is in force on May 1st, a credit will be applied to your personal auto policy.

Will I continue to receive a credit if the stay-at-home orders last longer?

We are hopeful that as stay-at-home orders are lifted, most sectors of the economy will be able to resume work and vehicle usage will return to normal. Coronavirus is like no other situation we’ve faced and we will continue to monitor a very fluid situation for potential future changes.

*Target date for credit to appear on invoices is subject to change. We are working extremely hard to make the credit available as soon as possible.
