#1001 Systems Support Analyst (LAN) Associate

Summary:

In this position you will work under direct supervision, perform skilled work in the installation, diagnoses, repair and maintenance of hardware and software of a variety of PC workstations and laptops and related peripheral equipment, including printers and scanners.

Essential Functions

  • Learns the basic tools and techniques necessary to begin productive work.
  • Completes simple level tasks associated with each essential function.
  • Configures PC workstation and laptop hardware and software as required by user.
  • Diagnoses and repairs or replaces defective PC workstation, laptop or peripheral equipment.
  • Assists employees in the operation and basic maintenance of the equipment.
  • Provides technical support for all hardware and related equipment.
  • Assists Infrastructure staff in setup and maintenance of server systems.
  • Maintains accurate and complete documentation.
  • Assists with the development of business continuity plan.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Night call may be required.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred or
  • Associates degree in computer science or industry recognized certificate¬†with job related experience is required
